Election Day Weather Will Be Complete Crap - STILL WON'T MATTER

The latest forecast for Northeast Ohio on election day is about as bad as it gets. Chilly with heavy rain and strong wind all day. Only way it could be worse is if it was snow.

Guess what...it doesn't matter!

When John Kerry wins Ohio and the presidency on November 2, it will be that much sweeter, because we will be able to say to our Republican friends....

You stole the presidency in 2000.
You were given the most united country of our lifetimes after September 11.
You concocted a war to run on.
You dressed Bush up to play soldier for the sole purpose of a TV commercial.
You kept him away from reporters so he wouldn't embarrass himself.
You drew your dream matchup against a liberal senator from Massachusetts.
You had double digit leads in the polls all year, as late as October.
You tried to steal it AGAIN.
You even had shitty ass weather on election day in the most important states...

AND YOU STILL LOST!!!!!!!!!

You can be partisan all you want, but you just aren't credible when you throw some of these comments around without qualifying them. You REALLY believe the presidency was "stolen" in 2000? You really believe that a guy who doesn't cozy up to reporters shouldn't be elected (you may want to check how many press conferences Kerry has been holding...)? You really believe a war was "concocted" for the puirpose of running on it in 2004? You really think Republicans are trying to STEAL the election when it's pretty clear that both sides are stretching the bounds of all credibility with their legal wranglings and below-the-belt get-out/suppress the vote efforts? And you really think Republicans have been hoping for a rainy day to swing the election their way? C'mon.

Maybe I am not the target audience for your postings, but they seem to me to embody many of the reasons the Democratic party is losing me. I'm 30 years old and this is the first election I'll be voting for a Republican for any major office and it is rhetoric like what is posted here that makes the Democratic party an unsuitable option.

As long as the Michael Moore wing of the Democrat party is ascendant, they will lose.
The Dems of old used to have the wrong ideas, but at least they were idealistic, upbeat and new.
Today's Dems still have the same stale, wrong ideas mixed with negativity and America-phobia.
